Yes! Teeling Tree Services holds Tree Surgery and Forestry Public Liability insurance up to £5million.
Where specialist machinery is required, this will be operated by a qualified, insured third-party sub-contractor.
CAN YOU GIVE ME A TREE SURGERY QUOTE WITHOUT VISITING THE SITE FIRST?
No. We will always need to visit your site to assess the impact and extent of work required.
This means we can provide an accurate, no-obligation quote (quotes are usually sent on the same day).
WHAT IS THE LEAD TIME FOR QUOTES?
If you need an emergency tree surgeon, I will visit your property as soon as possible.

For non-emergency tree services, I will typically visit your property within 48 hours of you contacting me. This may be up to 5 days in winter, with reduced daylight hours.
I aim to send your quote the same day, and within 24 hours of my visit.
WHAT IS THE BEST TIME OF YEAR TO CUT TREES BACK?
This varies, depending on the tree and issue. We will always consider safety first where storms have damaged your tree, or a tree is dead, dying or dangerous.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A TREE SURGEON AND AN ARBORIST?
An arborist is a qualified tree surgeon.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN OPERATING AS A TREE SURGEON?
Nick Teeling trained in Arboriculture in 2011 and has been fortunate to work for some fantastic tree surgery businesses, both as an employee and sub-contractor. He set up his own business, Teeling Tree Surgery, in 2022, to use his breadth of experience and provide a local personal service in Hampshire and West Sussex.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU HAVE?
Nick Teeling holds a level 3 diploma in Arboriculture achieved from Sparsholt College. He is fully NPTC qualified, working in ground and aerial work, around live powerlines and using MEWPS.
WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE WASTE?
Arisings (chippings) are processed for farm compost; domestic gardens; and environmentally friendly power station biomass.
Logs are used as firewood or sawmilling
Brash or hedge cuttings are burnt.
I’M NOT SURE IF I CAN CUT MY TREE. HOW CAN I CHECK IF MY TREE HAS A TPO?
